Welcome

Dear TICA Family,

My name is Ralph Stadter, and I have previously served as your Vice President from 2018 to 2023. I have been involved in TICA for over 25 years as a breeder, club member, entry clerk, ring clerk and show manager. I served on the TICA Board of Directors 2005-2006, and again from 2009 to 2017 as Europe North Regional Director. I have experience and knowledge concerning almost all aspects of TICA and the issues that we face as both a business and a hobby.

If you would like to find out more about the current discussions in the context of this election, please join the Facebook Group TICA Candidates.

Ralph Profile PictureIn my life outside the cat fancy, I’m a senior software architect for an industry leader in business software (SAP). I have been with the company since 1993. My job involves analyzing complex scenarios in financial accounting and finding solutions for business customers from all over the globe. I work with a multinational team of colleagues. I know how to foster a positive and inclusive team environment, and how to listen and take different perspectives into account when working towards finding effective solutions. I’m known for being a team player.

My work life is based on the philosophy of getting things done and finding solutions, with an underlying goal of building bridges. Being married to an American (who is also a TICA judge), I know and understand differences in philosophy and culture. I also know that this hobby brings us together and that we must work together for the welfare of all cats.

  • I have 30 years of experience working with teams across all time zones.
  • I have been working effectively and efficiently with the Executive Office for a very long time.
  • I have helped members from all parts of TICA’s world with tickets, cases, and questions.
  • I am a hard worker and I genuinely enjoy helping people.

I am not a “politician”, what you see is what you get.

  • I believe that integrity and ethics are essential for any elected officer, and I take confidentiality very seriously.
  • I do not vote on matters when there is a potential conflict of interest.
  • I make my decisions based on the information presented during our deliberations, and always in the context of what I genuinely believe to be in the best interest of the association.

In this fall’s upcoming elections, you will have the opportunity to vote for the next President and Vice President of our organization for the coming three years. Please cast your vote. I hope you will give me the opportunity to Serve and to Listen to YOU.
